Project Highlights

The Ladoga Recovery Center project involved the comprehensive renovation and enhancement of an existing behavioral healthcare facility to expand access to high-quality treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Originally constructed in 1986 and fully renovated in 2024, the two-story, 24,232-square-foot facility provides evidence-based care for adult men and women, including medically monitored detoxification (ASAM 3.7) and clinically managed residential treatment (ASAM 3.5). The project represents a significant investment in strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving treatment outcomes for underserved populations across Indiana.

The renovation focused on modernizing residential and therapeutic spaces to create a more welcoming, supportive, and healing environment. Patient accommodations were upgraded with new furnishings, enhanced lighting, improved finishes, and redesigned living areas that promote comfort, dignity, and well-being. Shared spaces—including therapy rooms, lounges, dining areas, and common gathering spaces—were thoughtfully reimagined to foster engagement, recovery, and community while improving the overall experience for both patients and staff.

In addition to interior improvements, the project enhanced recreational and wellness amenities that support a holistic approach to recovery. Upgrades to the fitness center, outdoor green spaces, and communal areas provide patients with opportunities for physical activity, social connection, and personal reflection. Designed in alignment with the Center’s trauma-informed, patient-centered treatment philosophy, these improvements reinforce Ladoga Recovery Center’s long-term mission of delivering accessible, compassionate, and effective care in an environment that promotes healing, resilience, and hope.
